Every saved job now opens on its own page, where you can edit any detail in place and read a short summary of the posting, the salary it states and the keywords it screens for, grouped by section and marked against your resume: a green fill for keywords you already have and a red wavy underline for the ones you are missing. A new Checklist tab gives you steps for each stage of your application, written for that job, to tick off as you go. When you tailor a resume to a job, your notifications tell you how many of its keywords you already cover, and the Report lists them as you edit; Add with Remi works a missing keyword into the right place, asking first where you used it so nothing is added that you do not have. The job board also has a cleaner, easier to scan look.

Your resume is now checked in real time, spelling and grammar included: the moment you click away from a block, a small badge shows how many issues it has, and each issue is underlined in the text, with a different symbol and line style for must fix, should fix and nice to have. The Report tab gives your resume one score out of 100 and lists what to fix by section, with a plain explanation for each issue and, where it helps, a one-click fix for spacing and punctuation, a Fix with AI button that hands the issue to Remi, a one-click remove or a jump to the right spot. Tailored versions also get a job match score against their job description, showing which keywords and requirements are still missing. Before you download your PDF, a quick check shows what is left to fix. This replaces the separate resume analysis and tailoring reports, so there is nothing to generate or wait for, and it works whenever you are signed in.

Importing a resume PDF now fills the template with only what your resume contains. A section your resume does not have, such as education or languages, disappears together with its heading instead of leaving an empty title on the page, and a template page left with nothing on it is removed. Sections the templates have no block for, such as volunteering, publications, courses, talks, memberships or interests, now come through as their own titled sections in a matching layout instead of being dropped. Extra entries get the same look as the ones the template came with, and the template's photo block stays yours to fill.

Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z undoes your last change and Cmd+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes it; the toolbar's Undo and Redo buttons name the change, such as "Undo · Edit text". Everything you do is covered: typing, formatting, adding, moving and deleting blocks and pages, style and design changes, moving a field, renaming the document, and Remi rewrites you approved, one proposal at a time. A typing burst is one step, and only your own actions are undone: the page layout applied when you import a resume stays as it is. An undone change is saved, so after a reload, in the PDF and on another device the resume is as you left it, in the free editor without an account too.

A new History tab in the editor sidebar lists every change to a resume, newest first, grouped by editing session, with plain labels such as "Edited content", "Added a block", "Undid: Delete page" and "Restored an earlier version". Click any entry to preview the resume exactly as it was at that point. Restore returns the resume to that point without losing anything: your current version stays in the history, so you can restore back to it. In the rare case that something in an old version can no longer be shown, Restore tells you so instead of guessing. Version history is available when you are signed in.

Change a job title, a company, a date style, a colour or the resume's own title and then close the tab or press Download straight away: that change is now saved, and it is in the PDF. A last-moment edit like that used to go missing. If your browser crashes or your connection drops, edits that had not been saved yet are kept on your device and put back the next time you open that resume. If the same resume changed somewhere else in the meantime, the newer version is kept and Roleframe tells you instead of writing over it. Switching quickly between two resumes no longer carries an edit from one into the other.

The editor no longer re-checks every block on the page each time you type a character in a long, multi-page resume. Dragging a block, or a field you have placed freely, measures the page less often while it moves. With the page thumbnails open, your document is no longer redrawn a second time every time your work saves. Saving does less work on both sides, in your browser and on ours. Nothing about how your resume looks or exports changes.

A few things used to look slightly different in the editor than in the downloaded PDF, and now they match. Double spaces and line breaks inside a text field print exactly as you typed them, letter pairs such as fi and fl render the same on screen and on paper, and the dates on your experience and education entries are the same size in both places. Pasting text into any section now takes the size of the text around it instead of arriving oversized or in the source's font: bold, italic, lists and links are kept, and colours and fonts from wherever you copied are not.

Your resume analysis and your tailoring reports now check the dates and employer names on your work history. They point out a role with no start date, a role with a start date and no end that is not marked as current, an empty employer field, and a company still recorded as something like "Company 1". You may also see quieter notices: six months or more between two dated entries that nothing covers, a year or more since your most recent dated entry ended with nothing marked as current, two roles at different employers running at the same time, or an employer recorded as "Confidential". None of those is scored and none is treated as a fault, they are simply what a screening tool can work out from your dates, or what an employment check reads from payroll records. Any dated entry that covers a period closes it, a project or a degree you are still studying for included, and what you put on your resume is entirely your call.

Select a block and a grip appears at its left edge. Drag it and the same blue guide lines you see when adding a block from the sidebar show you where it can go: above or below another block, beside one to make a two-column row, into or out of a row, or onto another page. The block keeps its content and settings, and it stays selected after the move so you can keep going. A blank page now also shows you what you can add and how.

Pick the job, press the button, and Roleframe starts tailoring. The separate fit check that used to sit in the middle of that flow is gone, because the tailoring report it produced already scores how well you match the posting. One decision instead of two, and nothing runs twice.

Drag a field you have placed freely on the page and the guide lines appear again, showing when its edge or centre lines up with another field, the centre of the page, or your margins. The field snaps onto the line you are shown and lands exactly there when you let go. Both work correctly at every zoom level now.

Ask Remi for a practice interview on a tailored resume and it writes the questions and model answers there and then, from your resume as it stands today. Questions come one at a time, you answer in your own words, and you get feedback on each answer plus a score at the end. Nothing is prepared in advance, so you never rehearse against a version of your resume you have since rewritten.

Remi is a new AI assistant that lives in the editor sidebar and works on the resume you have open. Ask it what to fix first and it reads your analysis, finds the weak spots and proposes rewrites you approve one at a time, so nothing changes on the page without you. It works like a recruiter who switched sides: it says plainly what a hiring team will notice, gives you the number instead of an adjective, and ends every answer with the one thing worth doing next. It can also tailor sections to a job posting, close keyword gaps, and run you through a practice interview.

Your resume analysis and your tailoring reports now read as a work list rather than a verdict. Each finding can be handed to Remi to fix, dismissed when it does not apply, or marked done yourself, and your score moves as you clear them. A finding you fix is recognised as soon as your edit saves, so the list stays honest without you re-running the report.

You can now write a complete resume, style it, and download the PDF without making an account at all. No card, no trial, no watermark, and the text in the PDF is real selectable text rather than a picture of a document. If you decide to sign up later, the resume you already wrote comes with you.

If a save ever fails, the editor catches it straight away instead of letting it pass unnoticed.

Roleframe reads job postings from a large number of job boards. Those boards change their page structure without warning, which used to mean a board quietly stopped working until someone noticed. The reader now re-checks every board on a schedule and repairs itself, so postings keep importing.

The editor decides where your resume breaks across pages while you type, so content flows onto the next page instead of running off the bottom of the current one. You can still place a break by hand wherever you want one.

Your document stays intact however the network behaves — repeated saves, a dropped connection, or two tabs open at once.

The editor preview and the exported PDF now match across every section layout Roleframe offers. Spacing, dates and section styling render identically in both, so the file you send is the document you designed.

Each part of your resume — experience, education, skills, projects and the rest — can now be presented in a range of layouts, chosen per section rather than fixed by the template you started from. Pick a timeline for your experience and a compact grid for your skills in the same document, and the exported PDF follows.

The AI behind resume tailoring and analysis no longer depends on a single provider. If one is unavailable or degraded, the work continues on another without the request failing and without you noticing.

Roleframe's resume templates are no longer fixed in the product's code. They are authored in the same editor customers use, stored as data, and published from an internal catalogue — so new designs arrive without waiting for a software release.

Resume analysis became stable and complete. Running it twice on an unchanged document returns the same findings, and long resumes are assessed in full rather than only as far as the analysis happened to reach.

Roleframe reads a finished resume and lists what is actually holding it back — a weak opening line, an achievement with no number behind it, a skill the posting asks for that you never mention. Each issue names the section it lives in, so you can fix it and check it off rather than guess at what a reviewer would change.

Track the jobs you are applying to, then branch your resume for any one of them without touching the original. Each branch is scored against that posting — which requirements you already evidence, which keywords a filter would look for and miss — so you can see what a specific application is missing before you send it.

Upload an existing PDF and Roleframe reads it back into a structured, editable document — your roles, dates, bullets and skills landing in the right places rather than as one block of text. From there it is a normal Roleframe resume: restyle it, switch its template, or tailor it to a job.

Pick a different design and your writing moves into it. Sections, dates and layout are rearranged to fit the new template instead of being reset, so trying a second look costs you nothing. The same machinery places imported or AI-written content into whichever template you are working in.

Resumes export as true PDFs — real selectable text, correct page size, and pagination that matches what the editor showed you. Applicant tracking systems read the text directly, and no blank trailing page comes along for the ride.

Typing applies instantly and syncs afterwards, so the editor never waits on the network. If a connection drops mid-edit, or the same resume is open in two tabs, the versions are reconciled rather than one silently overwriting the other.
