Can I write one from scratch?
Yes. Start from a blank page or a cover letter template and type. Generation is optional, and nothing is written for you unless you ask for it.
Will it match my resume’s design?

Does the AI make things up?
No. The draft is written from the resume you linked it to, and every claim has to exist in that document. If the resume does not say it, the letter does not claim it.
